Introducing Liberty, Freedom by Mahdi Baraghithi. Featured in Zawyeh Gallery’s Posters for Gaza project, Mahdi Baraghithi’s work uses collage to question power, masculinity, and identity within the Palestinian and broader Arab context. Through found images and materials, he confronts the visual language that shapes how Arab men—and Palestinians in particular—are seen and portrayed. His poster continues the legacy of political art as resistance, offering a layered, critical lens on freedom, representation, and lived reality under occupation. Mahdi Baraghithi, born in Ramallah, is a visual artist who works with collage, performance, and installation. He has participated in several international programs, including the Home Workspace Program at Ashkal Alwan in Beirut.
