Alaziz Atef

Alaziz Atef was born in Al-Arroub Refugee Camp in 1996. He studied law with a major in Political Science and International Relations at Birzeit University and is currently a graduate student in the Cultural and Critical Studies Program in the Department of Philosophy at the same university. Atef works in visual arts and Arabic calligraphy. He organized an exhibition titled Room 14, featuring his paintings smuggled from Ofer Prison. He is currently part of an open artistic proximity program with artist Sliman Mansour in his private studio. He resides in Birzeit.
