Sliman Mansour’s (b. Birzeit, 1947) The Daughter of Jerusalem presents a Palestinian woman in traditional dress, standing with the city of Jerusalem balanced atop her head. This symbolic gesture highlights the deep cultural and spiritual connection between the Palestinian people and the city. The woman’s calm, dignified expression reflects resilience and pride, while the detailed depiction of Jerusalem underscores its historical and emotional significance. Through this image, Mansour conveys the weight of heritage and the enduring bond between identity, place, and memory.

T Nostalgia by Nabil Anani was born in Nablus in 1974. He received a BA degree in fine art from Al Najah University in 1998. Although he is a multidisciplinary artist- producing sound and light installations, video and performances- Asad describes himself as a painter first and foremost. Starting as an abstract painter, his work has evolved to focus on Palestinian landscape. He has participated in group exhibitions in Palestine, Europe, Japan, the US and the Arab world.
