Oslo by Yazan Abu Salameh

Yazan Abu Salameh (b. Jerusalem, 1993) reflects on the strained relationship between nature and political confinement. Yazan Abu Salameh depicts a bird in the corner of a dark, enclosed room, shedding its feathersโ€”a stress response that echoes the trauma of displacement and entrapment. The scene becomes a quiet metaphor for life under occupation, where unnatural constraints suppress vitality and freedom. Through this delicate image, Abu Salameh draws a parallel between the fragility of nature and the enduring tension of Palestinian existence within restricted spaces
