God, make this house safe by Bashar Khalaf
Part of Zawyeh Gallery’s Posters for Gaza campaign, Bashar Khalaf continues the legacy of Palestinian political posters as tools of resistance and solidarity. The project highlights the atrocities in Gaza and calls for a ceasefire and recognition of Palestinians’ right to live freely and with dignity. Born in Ramallah in 1991, Bashar Khalaf holds a BA in Fine Arts from Al-Quds University. He gained recognition after winning the Young Artist of the Year Award in 2014 and has since exhibited widely in Palestine and internationally. His work explores identity, memory, and the psychological impact of conflict, and he currently teaches and works with several cultural institutions.
