Part of Zawyeh Gallery’s Posters for Gaza campaign, Fuad Alyamani’s poster powerfully captures the terror and vulnerability faced by Palestinian children in Gaza. A lone boy stands unaware as a rocket hurtles toward him—an image that starkly exposes the violence inflicted on civilians, particularly the youngest and most innocent, in a region under siege. Alyamani, a visual artist born in Ramallah in 1996 to Yemeni parents, draws on his Palestinian experience to create urgent and politically charged art. His work reflects the trauma of war, the loss of safety, and the constant presence of threat endured by generations growing up under occupation. By foregrounding a child as the target, Alyamani speaks to the broader reality of life in Gaza, where homes, schools, and everyday moments are overshadowed by the threat of bombardment.
