Sliman Mansour (b. Birzeit, 1947) depicts a seated Palestinian woman holding a translucent sphere containing the cityscape of Jerusalem. Set against a richly patterned rug, the composition symbolizes cultural heritage and the intimate bond between people and place. The woman’s gentle grip on the bubble and her calm expression reflect care and reverence for the city, emphasizing Jerusalem’s spiritual and historical importance. Through this imagery, Mansour conveys the enduring connection Palestinians maintain with their homeland, despite displacement.

T Nostalgia by Nabil Anani was born in Nablus in 1974. He received a BA degree in fine art from Al Najah University in 1998. Although he is a multidisciplinary artist- producing sound and light installations, video and performances- Asad describes himself as a painter first and foremost. Starting as an abstract painter, his work has evolved to focus on Palestinian landscape. He has participated in group exhibitions in Palestine, Europe, Japan, the US and the Arab world.
