The Orange Tree by Issam Al-Haj Ibrahim
Featured in Zawyeh Gallery’s Posters for Gaza project, Issam Ibrahim’s poster draws on the powerful symbol of the orange tree—an enduring emblem of Palestinian heritage and agriculture. Oranges have long been vital to Palestine’s economy and identity, representing resilience and connection to the land amid ongoing struggles. Born and raised in Dubai, Issam combines his background in architectural engineering, graphic design, and marketing with a passion for Surrealist and Modern Art. His work, exhibited in Beirut, Dubai, and beyond, channels cultural symbolism to highlight Palestinian dignity and the fight for freedom.
