The Hole Hanging by Majdulin Nasrallah
Palestinian artist Majdulin Nasrallah explores how oppressive systems reshape domestic and urban environments, altering the way individuals experience and relate to space. Through digital collages and photography, she depicts familiar architectural elements although altered by oppressive states, challenging what it means to feel safe in a home reshaped by war. Her work invites viewers to reflect on how home, safety, and routine are disrupted under conditions of political oppression, and how imaginative reinterpretation can open pathways to envisioning alternative, liberated futures.
