Ghada Hassanien presents naked tree branches making them appear as living bodies in her series: Rhythm. She uses black and white to accentuate the contrast of the shapes, allowing the viewer to visualize it’s movement despite its stillness.

Hassanien is originally from Haifa. She was born in Ein El-Heloueh Refugee camp in 1977, Lebanon. Currently lives in Belgium in Antwerp city where she had her first exhibition in 2015. Ghada is studying photography in ABK Mortsel academy. She is also the photographer of Dilbi vzw in Antwerp, a Syrian artistic organization that focuses on humanity and art. She published her first book The Letters of the Cloud.
