Presenting Gaza: The Thread That Connects The City. Rehaf Batniji is a Gaza City-based photographer and visual artist whose work captures the energy, tenacity, and complex reality of Gazan life. She conveys intensely felt stories derived from both individual and societal memory through the expressive use of colour. Beginning with her first solo exhibition in her Gaza garden, Rehaf’s creative journey has since expanded to include exhibitions at the Farc Gallery in Metz, Arles, the Institut du Monde Arabe, Gulf Photo Plus, and the Navy Officers’ Club in Venice in 2024, reaching audiences around the world. Her work has appeared in Le Monde Diplomatique, as well as is currently an artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
