Freedom in Bloom by Dyala Moshtaha
Part of Zawyeh Gallery’s Posters for Gaza initiative, Dyala Moshtaha channels the legacy of political posters to demand justice, dignity, and the right to life for Palestinians. Dyala Moshtaha, a Palestinian artist based in the UAE, uses digital collage to express themes of identity and resistance. In this work, the iconic black-and-white kuffiyeh symbolizes resilience, while vibrant oranges—long associated with Palestinian agriculture—evoke memory, land, and heritage. Together, these elements reflect a deep longing for freedom and the enduring spirit of a people rooted in their homeland despite displacement.
